Paula Egan founder and principal shareholder is a strategic and innovative entrepreneur with over 20 years experience at director level. In that time she has successfully created, managed, owned, advised, built and sold her own and others business. She is a graduate of University of Ulster, specialising in finance and of Dublin City University with an MBA. Winner of 2007 Ulster Bank sponsored Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
Starting out as Finance Manager for Ireland with SMC Pneumatics, a Japanese global PLC for nine years and then setting up her own business in 1999 – Celtic Careers, in 2008 with many blue chip multinationals and SME clients, a large payroll bureau, two offices, 250 contractors and 36 in-house staff Paula took the opportunity in 2008 to sell her shares in Celtic Careers at the peak of its success.
Paula then returned to her first love, finance, and re-launched FINANCE SERVICES; her particular and personal interest in Irish indigenous business drove the direction of the Finance Services offering – setting up a finance division with three specific areas of expertise – payroll, credit control and accounting. Though she has a tenacious focus on the bottom line Paula is fun and energetic, she is as passionate about other businesses as she is about her own, clients have come to depend on her as a champion of their business. Paula leads and develops the team at Finance Services in dynamic and progressive manner.
